David Govrin, director in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and recipient of an Adelson Institute fellowship in Democracy Studies, has recently concluded a study on the new face of Egyptian liberalism. Here he discusses the main points in the study, which was accepted last month for publication in the peer-reviewed Middle East Quarterly.

Martin Kramer, a Senior Fellow at the Adelson Institute, speaks about his research on preconditions for a two-state solution. Repeated U.S., Israeli, and international expressions of support for this solution, says Kramer, have diminished the sense of urgency on the Palestinian side.
